Dan Chudzinski

Grindylow

It waits within its dark domain,

Where Sirens call and fishes sleep.

Its single goal is to obtain,

A soul it shall forever keep.

Take heed child and do not linger,

Near the water’s edge where mothers weep

For children lost to the wretched fingers,

Of the monster lurking in the deep.

So hear these words and learn them well,

And pray that you may never know,

That haunted realm where darkness dwells,

Or the wicked grasp of the Grindylow.
