Deepwater Corsair

A merfolk fantasy race where you’d find an entire undersea culture. Maybe influenced by what they can see from offshore or happening on the decks of ships. Fashioning items from shipwrecks. And possibly wanting more trinkets, thus causing shipwrecks. 

Here I was influenced by a sidewalk feature at a Disney park. The sidewalk had shells mixed into the surface. I saw this particular shell and it struck me like a sword design merfolk might craft.
